This sign was really fun to make. My dad did the woodturning of the finial balls. Notice that there are three legs; this is so the sign angles slightly rather than being perpendicular to the road. The ornate Victorian details were taken from details on the building, the Cogshall House, built in the late 19th century. The background of the message area is "wainscot" and the letters and logo are cut-out acrylic with 23K gold leaf applied.
