Recently
completed projects include installation of all new concourse
directional signs at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and a large-scale community entrance sign for
Groveland, CA, the "Northern Gateway to Yosemite".
The current (fall/winter 2004)
project is an historical mural in downtown Reno on the outside east
wall of the House of Blends (corner of Sierra and Liberty). This one
is about 54 feet by 13 feet, and depicts ALICE RAMSEY, the first
woman to drive an automobile across the United States. She came
through Reno in August of 1909 in her Maxwell touring car. View
my original maquette for the mural and peruse the photocopy of her
fascinating account of her journey, Veil, Duster and Tire Iron, over a mocha and
deli sandwich on site at the coffee house.
